Pete Townshend’s Fender Stratocaster Used At Portsmouth Guildhall 2002

These two Fender Stratocaster pieces are what is left of Pete’s Black Strat that he smashed at Portsmouth Guildhall on 27th January 2002. One letter of provenance comes from Fender Guitars Artist Relations (Europe), as Fender used this display at the world famous Galeries Lafayette in Paris as part of Fender’s 60th Anniversary Exhibition during March of 2006. The other letter is signed by Alan Rogan. This comes with Pete’s plectrum that he used on the night of the show, two ticket stubs from the gig and three photos of Pete actually smashing the guitar!
