Hamish Stuart’s Late 1960’s Gibson ES-330 Used With The Average White Band & Paul McCartney

Hamish Stuart of the Average White Band bought this cherry finished late 1960’s Gibson ES330 as brand new old stock, when he was recording in New York in the 1970s. He immediately used it on Chaka Khan’s I’m Every Woman, and then two albums with her, (both produced by Arif Mardin). He also later used this guitar live when he was a member of Paul McCartney’s band in the 80s and 90s. It was used so much, it was refretted twice! A historic 330 for sure.
