Jeff Hanneman’s Home Studio Tascam 388 Studio 8 Recording Console

This is an incredible and rare piece of Slayer history! This Tascam 388 was Jeff’s first recording console, which he used from the mid-80s to the 1990s. Jeff used it to write and record many of his songs on Reign in Blood, Seasons in the Abyss, and more. So many great Slayer songs were written and recorded on this board. An original Polaroid photo from the 1990s shows Jeff’s home studio, where the Tascam 388 can be seen along with his Boss Micro Stack. A copy of this photo will be included with the board.  The original 1/4″ tape and reels that Jeff used and that were on the board are not included. This comes with a detailed letter from Kathryn Hanneman. The board is sold “AS IS”.  A new drive belt has been installed as the original belt broke.  The 388 has been sitting in storage since the 1990s and a tune up would be recommended.
