John Thomas’ 1968/1969 Gibson Les Paul Custom

This is John Thomas’ 1968/1969 Gibson Les Paul Custom that he owned for a very long time.  John owned this Guitar back in the 1980’s and then at some point sold it. It then circulated back to him in the early 2000’s.  It has had a head stock repair at some point and a middle pickup added.  In 2006 my friend Alan Rogan, purchased the guitar from John.  After Alan passed away his family were gracious enough to allow me to acquire the guitar back, as its very sentimental to me and I would to play it often at John’s house.  Inside the case there are labels that say “Wasp” which are from Pete Oliver’s Guitar shop in Birmingham, UK.  Also see attached photo of John using the Guitar in “JT’s Budgie”.   This is part of my personal collection- Greg.
