Robert Sarzo’s Ibanez Phoenix Used with Hurricane. RARE. Only One Ever Made.

You are looking at a very RARE Ibanez guitar.. The Phoenix. Serial # C854093. The only one ever made! This was designed by Robert Sarzo of Hurricane in the mid 1980s and was made in the Ibanez Custom Shop in Japan. Another special and unique item about this Ibanez is that Robert designed the fingerboard inlay. Ibanez later incorporated this inlay on their guitars, so this is the first Ibanez made with this inlay. As you can see, the guitar is made of a V shaped body that has four attachable parts. When you attach these four parts it transforms into the “Phoenix”. The parts can be detached and the guitar can be played either way. This is a unique design and as we said before..the only one in the world. This guitar is featured in the Hurricane music video “Hurricane” and it was used on many tours with Hurricane. It comes in the original Ibanez case and guitar strap. Everything is original. Robert can be seen here holding the Phoenix and he did a detailed letter for it as well.
