Noel Redding’s Fender 6 String Bass used on Electric Ladyland
Click on a photo to view full size image
Jimi Hendrix/Noel Redding Fender Bass 6, 1967. Bought originally by Noel Redding in Manny’s New York in 1967, and used mainly in the studio. Most notably, Jimi Hendrix played the solo from Electric Ladyland’s “1983” on it. The solo was certainly played on a six string Fender bass, and this is the only one they owned. Original condition with case and documentation, bought from Noel in 1999 at his home. Noel did say that Jimi played this bass. Comes with photos, video, and a letter from Noel.
