Jeff Hanneman’s Reign in Blood Gold Record Cassette CD Award

This RARE Reign in Blood gold record award was part of Jeff’s collection and was presented to Jeff by Def American Recordings in the early to mid-1990s. It is to commemorate the sale of more than 500,000 copies of the album, cassette, and CD. Def American sent these awards to the band because the certified gold awards were taking longer than expected to be produced. The certified awards were presented to Slayer in or around 1994 at the Magic Castle in Hollywood, California. A detailed letter from Kathryn Hanneman is included.
